The short version: everything technical here is indicative, nothing on this site is a warranty or a substitute for an engineer's specification, and a quotation binds us only once it is confirmed in writing.

buildwithecored.com is operated by Ecored Cement (RC 9633666), 404 John Chukwu Crescent, Wuye, Abuja FCT. Using the site means accepting the terms below.
This is the most important clause on the page, so it is written plainly.
Ecored is an early-stage manufacturer. The figures published on this site — compressive strength, dimensions, grade, cost comparisons, thermal behaviour — describe what our materials have shown under the conditions in which they were made and assessed. They describe a product, in general. They do not describe your building.
Where this site states a strength value or a performance figure, treat it as indicative pending formal test certificates from the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute. Our cement is produced to Grade 42.5R in 50kg bags, and Ecored is certified by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria; that certification governs the product, not any particular use you may put it to. Test data published here may be revised as the testing programme progresses, and we will publish the revision rather than quietly amend the number.
Structural design is site-specific. Loads, spans, soil conditions, water table, exposure, mortar, workmanship and curing all determine whether a material is fit for a particular use. None of that can be settled by a web page.
Before building with Ecored materials, obtain a project-specific design and specification from a structural or civil engineer registered to practise in Nigeria, and have that engineer review the material data for the intended application. Nothing on this site — no figure, no image, no comparison, no worked example — is a substitute for that review, or an instruction to build in a particular way.
Publishing information here does not create a warranty, a guarantee of fitness for purpose, or a contractual term. Warranties, where they exist, come from the supply agreement or purchase documentation for a specific consignment, together with whatever rights you have under Nigerian law. Those we stand behind. A number on a web page is not one of them.
Products, formulations, dimensions and services may change as production matures. We may correct or update any page at any time without notice. If you are relying on a figure for a decision, ask us to confirm it in writing for your consignment.
What you are looking at
Two things on this site are easy to read as promises. They are not.
Architectural and site photographs across this site are licensed stock images used to show what earth construction can look like. They are indicative. They are not photographs of Ecored projects, Ecored sites or buildings constructed with Ecored materials, and no completed project is being claimed by showing them.
The site publishes no prices. Any figure we discuss by email, phone or in a meeting is an estimate until we issue a written quotation. A quotation binds us only once we confirm it in writing, and only for the volumes, dates and delivery terms it states. Verbal agreements do not form a contract of supply.
You may read these pages, print them, and share links to them. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site or the server it runs on, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or use it to send unlawful, abusive or misleading material to us.
The Ecored name, the wordmark, the page designs, the written copy and the product photography commissioned by us belong to Ecored Cement or are used by us under licence. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce the site wholesale, present our copy as your own, or use the Ecored name or mark in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement or distributorship that does not exist.
Stock photography on this site is licensed to Ecored for use on this site. That licence does not extend to you. Typefaces and any third-party code remain the property of their authors under their own licences.
If you are a rights holder and believe something here has been used without permission, write to admin@buildwithecored.com and we will take it down while we look into it.
Where we link out — to a regulator, a research institute, a standards body — we do so because the destination is useful, not because we control it. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of any site we do not operate, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on it.
We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of every inaccuracy.
To the extent Nigerian law allows, Ecored is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published on this site, including construction costs, delays, redesign, or damage arising from materials being used outside a specification prepared by a qualified engineer. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — is not excluded.
Liability under a contract of supply is governed by that contract, not by this page.
What the site collects, who else sees it, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 are set out in our privacy policy.
We may revise these terms as the business and the site develop. The current version is always the one published here, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a revision means accepting the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes arising from the site or these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
